Garth Landis is not just a name, but a testament to passion, dedication, and resilience. As an ISA Certified Arborist, Garth stands out as a distinguished professional in arboriculture, a domain that embraces the cultivation, management, and scientific study of individual trees, shrubs, vines, and other perennial woody plants. His specialized expertise is pivotal in ensuring the health and safety of these natural wonders.

Before stepping into the world of dendrology and horticulture, Garth showcased unwavering commitment to his nation. He honorably served the U.S. Army for 15 years, imparting leadership and discipline as a Platoon Sergeant / Operations Sergeant of the esteemed 1st Cavalry Division and later as a Platoon Sergeant for the iconic 101st Airborne. Amidst his rigorous duties, Garth pursued academic excellence, earning his Bachelor's in Business Administration from Liberty University while on Active Duty.

Beyond his professional and academic accolades, Garth's heart resides in family and community. As a dedicated father of six, he effortlessly juggles between responsibilities and joys of parenthood. Moreover, his spiritual journey finds expression as the men's ministry leader at Valley Church in Roanoke.

Now with J&J Treewackers, Garth brings together his multifaceted experiences, blending his military precision with arboricultural insights to ensure the best for both nature and the clients we serve.
